When I download PTGUI Pro 9.1.4 Norton 2012 IS marks the Setup as unsafe
and removes it.

Interesting – I use Norton 360 and it didn’t say a thing – installation went fine

This happens with every new release of PTGui. Norton seems to treat every executable as unsafe except if it's downloaded from some 'major' source.

If you are in doubt try this online virus scanner:
https://www.virustotal.com

For an alternative to Norton see:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/security-essentials-download
