Moin moin,

I have asked this almost two years ago...

I would like a feature where I can delete all images, that are not
shown in the panoramic editor... it is a pain in the ass to delete all
not used images for better performance ;)

would be great if there is a button which will delete all these
unnecessary images for me :)

thx

Do you mean like the "Remove Excluded Images" button below the list of images used on the Create Pano Tab ?

It's on the wish list. Please keep in mind that I'm receiving several
requests for new features each week, many date from more than two years ago.

BTW the stitcher will silently bypass any images outside the visible
area. Even though it says stitching image xxx of yyy, the invisible
images will take 0 seconds to stitch.

Even better. PTGui will pass only the used images to an external
blender. Just tested by stitching only a 10x6 crop of a full spherical
running enblend as external blender.

Yes, but the layers are empty and don't occupy much space. Only the
layers palette gets crowded. I don't know why this should be useful but
I guess it's by design. Joost?

yes these layers are empty, but when I blend them in a different
programm the programm looks if there is something... and in gigapixel
size it is quite annoying ;)
