I have both versions of the Panosaurus. The new version, Panosaurus 2.0,
is a big improvement over the first version in terms of ability to
handle more weight, overall design, and compactness for travel. I
typically us a Pentax K-5 and DA*15-50mm lens (combined weight about 3
pounds, 1350 grams) with no problem. The most recent project was an HDR
interior of a cathedral requiring 255 exposures. Overall I am very
pleased with the Panosaurus 2.0 especially since it costs a fraction of
other solutions and is compact for easy travel.
