I am some what new to sshing, but i recently purchased this app
because i needed to move some theme files. However, i am not sure how
to get to a point where i can just transfer files from my computer to
my iphone4. I also do not know where to find my ip address or Host.

hi, only just started using this app, so far been impressed
i use it to access a cisco access server, for which the escape
sequence to go from one router connection back to access server is
"ctrl+shft+6 let go then x"
is it possible to acheive this, or possibly a macro feature where you
can define custom key input... more »

pterm and Cisco via telnet?

I have not been able to connect to any of our Cisco equipment using
telnet with pterm. I can use SSH to get to our firewalls, so I know
connectivity is good. It's telling me that the authentication failed,
though I can go to my PC and get right in.

cut & paste support

Now that the iPhone has cut & paste support it'd be nice if this app
supported it as well. I just had to install a new ssh key recently
and it would have been nice to have been able to simply copy the
public key then paste it into an authorized_keys file rather than e-
mailing it and then copying & pasting it.... more »

I am a pretty basic computer user, and recently I've been searching
around for some application I could use to play MUDs with on the go.
I know this is quite possibly a stupid question, but would I be able
to do this with your application? Thank you for dealing with my

Just started to use pTerm, all good so far.
As a suggestion what about having the ability to use the touch screen
as an input device. What I mean is I have some sessions I log to that
are menu driven, "T" for tools, etc, could we not just touch the T to
have it input ready to send upon using return.... more »

I have need of using a terminal like function on the iphone which
pterm seems to emulate. The program is called pathfinder and is
basically a telnet interface. I type telnet pollux.sdp and I connect
to a private network when inside my employer's firewall.

Scandinavian characters å, ä and ö

Hi,
What should i put under Environment Variables to get the Scandinavian
characters å, ä and ö to work. Using the defult setting
"LANG=en_US.UTF-8", the characters are replaced with other symbols.
