There is nothing built-in for obtaining continuous ratings. Because you are using the Coder you have many options. One would be to have a ShapeStim and on every frame, update its vertices to reflect something that the subject can control, such as the mouse position or the mouse scroll wheel.

Be sure to save the height / rating information so you can analyze it later. You could save every time is changes, or save every frame, several ways could work.

Hi all,

I am a new user of PsychoPy and having a hard time to make experiment work.. Using Coder, I want to ask participants to report moment-by-moment rating regarding how they feel while they would be watching a video clip. I managed to make py files with help to play movies, stop the movies, and ask questions, but I am not sure how to make continuous ratings during the whole time they would watch the movie. Is there any code for this kind of task or does anybody know (or has a clue) regarding how to make this happen?

Thank you so much!
