Hello~
A question for facilitators that are seeing clients professionally and
charging: Is there a need to keep “treatment notes” on each clients
visit or not?

Also, regarding for those of you that are working with Psych-K only,
with no other license: is there a need to carry any type of
malpractice insurance? i.e.: Professional Liability/Errors and
Omissions policy.

Thanks
~Angela

Angela, I have  been maintaining  a folder for each client  which includes  basic contact information and balances completed. At the facilitator's conference, there was many styles to keeping records and most were very simple.  As far as liability goes, I have malpractice for my self practicing as a nurse practitioner. however I don't think this would be of any use. As we always receive permission,  I'm not sure what kind of situation could posit malpractice. I hope this helps . Sheryl
