hey everyone - i've uploaded a new beta here:

http://dspmusic.org/psp/PSPSeq210-beta4.zip

it has the copy synth data between steps, smarter wav file loading,
and (i think) all of the bugs fixed that have been reported thus far.
there may be other bad things lurking in there, but you guys seem to
be better at rooting out bugs than i am. honestly i'm a little burnt
on testing at the moment so i'm not surprised you're finding all these
oddball things in there.

those of you that have found bugs recently, if you could test this
version out to make sure they're not there (along with everyone
banging on it to see what turns up) that would be awesome. also, i
haven't updated the demo seqs from 2.01, so if anyone has something
they'd like to include let me know. even if everything goes well i'm
not going to release this until the weekend so if you want to tweak
some loops or write new ones you've got time.

so yeah, go get it and go crazy! :)

just wanted to point out that one small bug was already uncovered; one
of the parameters for PSQ isn't displayed properly in the sequencer.
it's fixed but i haven't added it to the beta online. if you stumble
upon it don't worry about reporting the problem...

ok here i am replying to myself again. can't be a good sign. there
are a couple small GUI bugs related to holding triangle and pressing
UP/DOWN on D-pad (the selected item gets "unstuck"). specifically in
custom new and in song sequence. i have them fixed. just letting you
know in case you ran into them. i will do some more hunting to make
sure they're all gone & then upload a fixed version tonight or
tomorrow. in the meantime feel free to keep testing beta4 as the
changes i made are really small and don't affect any other systems.
