I'm Using Psiphon3 From Iran,on Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
I need the psiphon for android. please release android version as soon
as possible.

I have been using psiphon3 for long times. but since I started using windows 8, I am seriously in trouble. I ain't able to start psiphon3 now. Please provide me the solution to solve this problem.

Hi.  Thanks for your message.  Psiphon 3 runs on Windows 8.  We would like to know more about your problem.  Can you please describe what isn't working?  Screenshots might be helpful too.

Thanks for reply, I understand I can get .apk file to install Psiphon 3 from email, but 3rd-party source would be a ``unknown sources '' in Android. Though not likely, there is security risks in it. A attacker could change, manipulate, or destruct the app,or add malicious code to trace users, and user has no way to know the app has been altered. Google Play asks for certificate signature mandatory, so it would prevent this to happen,

Hi.  We appreciate your concern.  Unfortunately the Play Store is inaccessible to a majority of our users, so we did not consider it important to post it there.

Concerning security, our apk files are digitally signed.  You can find information about how to verify the signature of an apk file here.

When a new version of the app is installed, the system requires that the new version is signed with the same certificate that the previous version was signed with.  So, as long as you trust the apk file the first time it is installed, future updates are automatically verified for authenticity.

We are also working on adding PGP signing to our email responses that contain apk file attachments.
