I have chosen the option to connect via 3G/GSM if WLAN is not present.
In the next field (3G/GSM AP) I am presented with 3 options,
Internet - My Packet Data GPRS connection
Bmobile Buzz
Bmobile MMS
If I choose Internet, exit and reopen Psiloc Connect, I am again asked
to choose a 3g/GSM AP. If I choose Bmobile Buzz or Bmobile MMS the
settings are saved!
I am using a Nokia E72 with a 1yr purchased license.
Please Assist.
I have just the trail version but, when i spoke by phone with the
support team, they said the application is exactly the same full or
trial so...
...and i have the exact same problem, very strange. I have 4 choices:
i-movil Entel PCS
MMS Entel PCS
i-shop Entel PCS
Streaming Entel PCS
When i just installed the app, i chose i-movil Entel PCS and every
time that i exited and re-run, the configuration for 3G/GSM access
point said "MUST BE DEFINED". Of course as the app was not able to
save the 3G/GSM point selected by me, i didn't get to connect to the
internet using the Psiloc Connect acces point.
Then a tried choosing a different one. Any of the last 3 ones of the
list above, no problem, the configuration is saved correctly. Then i
tried again choosing the one that i need to choose (i-movil Entel
PCS), i exit the app, open it again and now, instead of "MUST BE
DEFINED" text, it appears the name of the last point selected (any of
the last 3 ones).
I have a Nokia N96, Software Version 30.033
I'm using Psiloc Connect 2.10 trial version.
Thanks
I created another packet data connection using the same details as
"Internet" and named it "GPRS". GPRS is 4th on the list. Based on
JP's experience I suspect that the problem lies with the "first packet
data" entry.
Everything functions as desired, I move from area to area without need
to adjust my AP's.
