"There was an error creating the default profile"?

I just downloaded Psi for Mac OS, but when I try to open it, I get an
error message, "There was an error creating the default profile." I've
tried restarting, fixing permissions--nothing works. I'm using Mac OS
10.7.2 on a MacBook Pro (3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8GB 1067 MHz
DDR3).
Does anyone have any idea how to fix or get around this? Thank you.
