Compiling on Solaris 9 - stdint.h

It appears that libprotobuf cannot be built on Solaris 9 due to the
absence of stdint.h. Is this a know nlimitation? and are there know
workarounds?

I'm pretty sure several people have compiled on Solaris 9.  Perhaps it is your particular compiler that is lacking this?  stdint.h was introduced by C99 -- can you use a compiler that is less than 10 years old?

Does your system have inttypes.h?  If so, you could perhaps symlink stdint.h to it.
