And this is why people complain about Propertyware support...  I screwed up last night with our login to the FTNI app for epayments.  It locked me out, makes sense.  It also locked out all of our tenants from making online payments.  That is a bigger deal.  Support was very friendly, but it took them awhile to figure out who can fix that, since there is no automated method.  In the end she says they fix it so she would have to escalate the issue, and they hope to fix it within 40 hours.

40 hours for a password reset...

Curt,

are you using check scanners or something that would keep you on FTNI?  My understanding was that everyone was being moved over to the Jack Henry platform?

Yes, we use a check scanner.  Is there an advantage to the new platform?  And I take it the new one doesn't work with scanners?  And the good news is they reset the password MUCH quicker than promised, just took a couple hours.  Good thing I didn't make the mistake on the first of the month!

I'm pretty sure unless you ask to be switched over to the Jack Henry platform (which is controlled by RealPage) then you still end up having to deal with 3rd parties like FTNI, etc. From what I understand Propertyware had decided to abandon using FTNI altogether and control everything in house (could be good or bad) but Jack Henry is what all of Real Page is on and they control it 100%.   As far as I know the check scanner should still work and you'll see a lot of different changes to options you can change and control under Jack Henry. Get with your sales rep or better yet demand that they switch you by contacting someone in e-payments. My favorite guy is Andy Kinsler and he's really easy to work with. Andy's info is below:
