Voldemort 0.96 Failing Tests

Hi guys,

As you can imagine I'm evaluating the new 0.96 version to migrate from my current 0.90.1 patched version. While doing it I've found some problems with 4 tests and I wanted to check with you if you known what could be happening.

a) voldemort.store.routed.RoutedStoreTest.testPutTimeout[1]

b) voldemort.store.routed.RoutedStoreTest.testPutDeleteZoneRouting[1]

c) voldemort.store.bdb.BdbCachePartitioningTest.testStaticPrivateCaches

d) voldemort.store.bdb.BdbCachePartitioningTest.testDynamicReservations

Tests a) and b) are consistently failing in my Linux box, but are working in my Windows development box (yeah I known, no comment)

Tests c) and d) are always failing.

I can see that in your Hudson system those tests are working so my suspicious are that the tests failing are related, somehow, with some OS and/or hardware configuration.

I will appreciate your help.

Hi Carlos,

a) and b) could be caused by some rare race condition in the test utility, which we are currently investigating. But it should not be related to the system itself.

Features covered by c) and b) are not officially released. However, those tests had never failed for us. Can you send us the trace when the tests fail?
