Our first guest Gary Dorrien is author of the new book "The Obama Question".  He is a Professor Social Ethics at Union Theological Seminary, a Professor of Religion at Columbia University and is the author of 14 books. This book offers a critique of Obama's presidency and a case that progressives should not give up on Obama. Gary Dorrien is described by  Cornel West as "the preeminent social ethicist in North America today,"


 Next Lilian will be talking with Melaney Linton, newly-appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast.  They will be discussing the recent de-funding of women's health clinics in Texas.

We will end with the speech Bill Ayers On Being An Activist: What it Means To Be An Engaged Citizen. Ayers is a a professor of education and a senior university scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the author many books, including his 2001 memoir, Fugitive Days: Memoirs of an Antiwar Activist. He was a former member of the Weather  Underground.
