Up first we will play Noam Chomsky's address to Occupy Boston protesters. His latest book is A New Generation Draws the Line. Chomsky is a Professor Emeritus at MIT, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Some of his other books are Rogue States: The Rule of Force in World Affairs, The New Military Humanism, Fateful Triangle, Manufacturing Consent, Necessary Illusions and Failed States. In the second hour Lilian Care will interview the authors of a new report from American Association of University Women on the topic of sexual harrassment in our high schools and the negative impact this has on students' education. Her guest are Catherine Hill, director of research at AAUW, and Holly Kearl, AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund program manager.

Lilian will end with  a Year in Review, looking at accomplishments/setbacks of particular importance to women, by talking to Lucinda Marshall, director and founder of the Feminist Peace Network (FPN) which she founded in December, 2001.
