Our first guest Richard Kirsch is author of the new book Fighting for Our Health: The Epic Battle to Make Health Care a Right in the United States. Kirsch is a Fellow at the Nelson Rockefeller
Institute of Government.
From 2008 to 2010 he was National Campaign Manager for Health Care for
America Now.
Lilian Care will be speaking with former Vermont Governor Madeleine Kunin about her new book"The New Feminist Agenda: Defining the Next Revolution for Women, Work, and Family" Gov. Kunin made Vermont history as its first and only female governor serving from 1985-1991. She also served as US Ambassador to Switzerland from 1996-1999. We will end with a talk by Rick Halperin. He was part of the panel on Understanding Civil Rights Post 9/11 and his topic was The Right to Protest & Free Speech. Halperin is Director of the Embrey Human Rights Programat Southern Methodist University and twice chair of the board of directors Amnesty International USA. This was Recorded at the Civil Rights
