Job Title : SQL DBA
Location : Milwaukee, WI.
Duration : 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Description:
SQL DBA with 3-4 years of overall experience.
Handling database performance issues. Proactively determine improvement opportunities and data quality enhancement.
Database backup/restore strategy, compliance, scheduling jobs, integration & documentation, production and pre-production technical support,
Handling & setting up database mirroring Setting up database replication.
Problem management ,debugging and root cause analysis, preventive maintenance,
Incident management, communicate application teams.
Planning & managing weekend changes in production environment. Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Periodically Monitor Production databases from performance perspective.
Setting SQL server environment & coordinating patch installation.
Work with application teams on critical production issues.
