Hello All,

I’ve gone through the installation of both the application and database server, uploaded the code and everything is working, almost.   The Search page displays correctly and has links to People, Organizations, Research, Concepts, Awards.  When I click any link similar to this (ie.http://localhost/Profiles/181793) it results in an http error of “404” or "Page Not Found".  I’ve double checked the handler mappings and they seem to be in order.  The app was deployed on Windows 2003 IIS6, backed by Sql server 2005.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I resolved this as follows (for version 1.0.2):

In the Handler Mappings section in IIS 7, add a Script Map to handle *.rdf files.

I’m running IIS 7 on a Windows 2008 machine.  Thanks to James Norman for this tip.  I have compiled a list of additional configuration changes that I discovered and shared with the Harvard team.  Perhaps these things were addressed in 1.0.3

Hi Danganan, Clyde,

Thank you for your help.   I added a Script Map to handle *.rdf files with C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\aspnet_isapi.dll.  It is still not working.

Is there anything I am wrong?

Also, there is only table:  Framework..Parameter. I couldn't find table:  Ontology..Parameter in ProfilesRNS database.

Did you create a *.rdf MIME type

Type = text/plain

I am running 1.0.2 and I don’t have an Ontology..Parameter table either.

Thank you for your fast response.

In IIS 6.0,  it does not have option for MIME type

Type = text/plain
