Thanks for flaggign the application up. I've never used this type or
app before but it could certainly be useful. Running a sales based
company I need to follow through on prospects I'm trying to win and
keep a track on live jobs in. I do use JopPro which containes these
functions currently but there is no iCal or Address book link unless
you want to pay to have them engineered in ( it's a Fielmaker App ).

Be interesting to see how this compares.

I'm a very time poor person so I tend to use or drop something quire
quickly depending on whether it makes life easier or makes life harder
!

Hi JR,
We'll be curious to see what you think. In case you didn't see, the
final version is due today, but we all know how hat can go. Hopefully
we'll hear or see some news at least.

Like what I see so far but I hope they are late as I've just found
there is no facility for international date formats !

ie I tried to enter a date of when I first contacted a new prospect,
which for me was the 31st of January 2006, so here in the UK we would
enter this as 31.1.06.

It threw up an error message as it can't handle this format and
obviously wants to us the US format of 1.31.06 which we do not use in
the UK.

I wouldn't even have spotted this if I'd been entering something like
1.2.06 which for me is the 1st of February but for you is the January
the 2nd. This will have further implications in linking things to iCal
as well.

I've fed the problem back straight away but I may be too late.

JR

There is facility within OS X for handling dates properly; I don't know
why they wouldn't use them.

I actually wish we (the US) could adopt the more logical european
format for dates (day, month year) Using Apple's internal date
structures should allow us all to use what we want, with no consequence
to others.
