From: Julie McCarthy <jnmcc...@gmail.com>Subject: Applications for Civil Society Participation in the April 2012 OGP annual meeting!Date: January 5, 2012 3:44:25 PM GMT+01:00To: OGP Civil Society Working Group <ogp-civi...@googlegroups.com>Reply-To: ogp-civi...@googlegroups.comDear all,
On April 16-18, 2012, the Open Government Partnership (OGP) will hold
its annual meeting in Brasilia, Brazil. Participants will include high-
level representatives from OGP’s 50 member governments, civil society,
the private sector, and the media.
We have launched an application process today for civil society
participants. We have funding to support up to one participant from
each of the 50 OGP countries, and room to include an additional 50-70
self-financed civil society participants in the meeting (final numbers
to be determined by space constraints).
Please go here to learn more about how you/your local partners can
participate in the April meeting:

We are very eager to have strong representation from each of the OGP
participating countries, and would be grateful if everyone with
networks in any of these countries could pass this notice on to their
counterparts there. The application process will take place over the
coming month, so time is of the essence to ensure that local civil
society can mobilize accordingly!
Many thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions.
All best,
Julie
Muy interesante. Desafortunadamente el meeting será en Brasilia, yo
estoy en Sao Paulo. Pero si alguien se anima a viajar para cá, garanto
soporte logistico en Sao Paulo ;-)
Un saludo a todos,
Francesco
