Subject: Organizing Privly Teams
Hey everyone,

I've sent out emails to everyone individually, but I just wanted to
send a notice to the group, in case I missed anyone who'd be
interested in contributing.

We're at the point where we're trying to transform potential
contributors into active contributors.

Here are some steps to get you started:

Step 1. Go to http://www.privly.org/ and "Sign Up".

Step 1.5. Look at our Welcome Page and read about our different teams.
http://www.privly.org/content/welcome-privly-community

Step 2. Subscribe to a team's forum thread. Leave a comment on any of
the various forum threads and check the boxes to stay informed. Also,
check out the Team Center (linked on the Welcome page) for the team
you're interested in.

Step 3. Create a People Page

More information about the People Page:
Privly contributors should now create a "people" page on the
www.privly.org website. These pages will show up on the "Team Center"
views of the website, and include information on what you want to work
on, as well as questions you need answered to get started.

To set up your "Person Page"
1. Create a user account for yourself here:
http://www.privly.org/#overlay=gardener/register%3Fdestination%3Dnode
2. Create a people page for yourself at:
http://www.privly.org/node/add/people-item
   * Write a short bio for yourself
   * Tag which team(s) you want to work on
   * Indicate what you are working on at any given time
   * Add questions indicating what you need to know to start work

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to let me know.

Thanks for your future contributions!
