Dear Friends,
The Legislature will begin its 9th day of the Veto Session shortly. Budget and tax negotiations stalled last week putting pressure on leadership and the Governor to find a way to end the session.
On Friday before adjournment the House passed the CCR on HB 2249 (which eliminates the historic environs review process (HB 2118). Now the CCR will be enrolled and sent to the Governor for his signature or veto. He has ten days to make a decision; or let the bill become law without his signature. If you would like to let the Governor know your position, now is the time to do so.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Terry
