Just some reminders about this coming Sunday, Nov. 29, the first Sunday of Advent.

 

We’ll have a youth fundraiser ($1.50 sausage biscuits) at 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall before Sunday School + a free Coffee Talk (gourmet coffee & tea & snacks) in Fellowship Hall after worship.

 

We'll begin receiving $3 Angel Tree donations in honor or memory of persons.  Proceeds will go to (1) Joyce Wood’s school (Fairley HS); (2) Prescott’s Adopt-A-School, Sherwood Elementary; and (3) the Youth Center in Mae Sot, Thailand, that Meredith Walsh helped found

 

In worship we'll light the first of our Advent candles.

 

Finally this Sunday, we'll welcome some dear friends from Australia who’ll be visiting us, the Dyers:  Keith and Lynne, Daniel (22) and Reuben (15).  The Dyers were active at Prescott 10 years ago when Keith was teaching at MTS.  Jean and I put off other plans in order to go to lunch with the Dyers after worship and Coffee Talk.  We'd love to have others join us if you can -- Dutch treat.  They have come more than 9500 miles to be here!
