I have no doubt a multipurpose arena with a primary tenant
of Depaul University basketball will bring surrounding development and jobs to
the area. In fact, in general I'm not opposed to the idea. My primary concern

Not since my adolescent daughter plead "...but EVERYONE is doing it!", have
I heard such an absurd rationale to build a stadium. Wrong project for the
wrong locale.

For those who haven't
seen the news, I wanted to let you know that a 19-year-old Rockford man
has been charged with the criminal sexual assault which took place in
the area of 14th and Clark.

He was charged with crininal sexual assault, home invasion, and two counts of armed robbery.

We thank everyone for their concern and assistance in this matter.
