Dear all,

We're organizing GNOME.Asia summit 2nd edition in Vietnam this year and
we'd be more than happy to see some Linux and Open Source people from
Cambodia. I think Mario (from LXDE) might have contacted some of you,
but since I didn't see any announcement on the list I wanted to let
everyone know.

I'll be attending myself and might even drop by to Cambodia afterwards
(since it's only a 35 minutes flight...).

The call for participation is here http://gnome.asia/en/participants/
and we would be very happy to see any of you guys as visitors as well.

Any question please let us know.

Thanks

Fred

Back on the GNOME.Asia in Ho Chi Minh topic I'll be coming to Phnom Penh
the week before the conference and we've been talking to meet up with
Chantra and Jean-Philippe on Tuesday 17th in the evening.

GNOME.Asia is from 20 to 22nd and I was wondering if any Cambodia FOSS
project leader was going to attend or would be interested to give a
talk/presentation/workshop/etc there?

Else we will hopefully meet up the week before and we can discuss PPLUG
issues:
- Building our website @ pplug.net
- FOSS in Cambodia (I'm interested, I'd like to hear you guys)
- FOSS in Education in Cambodia. I do a lot of those in China and I'd
like to see if we could combine efforts
- 3D printer: http://www.reprap.org : we're starting to build one in
Beijing and I think it's a really cool project...

Thanks and looking forward to getting feedback.

Fred
