I know there is a way to change the size of the tab, both the line
spacing and the numbers. But is there a way to do the same to the
staff and notes? Or a way to make the gap between the staff and tab
smaller?

Can't write in the score itself, only as a tab?

Hi, I'm a complete newbie to this and am probably missing something

Hi all,

I am new to Power-tab (actually, i am new to making my own tab...)
This is probably a really stupid question... but is there a way to
change the time signature during the song? I am trying to tab a song
from a piano sheet music and in the middle of the song, they change
the time signature...

There doesn't seem to be any where to get a clean copy of power tab.
Every site wants to saddle you with PDF reader. Does anybody know
where to get a copy of power tab editor without spyware PDF reader?

insert notes

HI,
New user question.
I want to insert a few notes into the middle of a song; but I don't
see any way to do that other than to place the cursor at the point of
interest, cut everything to the end of the song, insert my notes and
then past the part that was cut.
Sometimes pasting adds a music bar and then I can't add notes to the

exporting power tab files...

I know how to write harmonies.but when I tab them out,they don't play
at the same time. Only one note plays. Is there a way to hear my
harmony,because I've seen people tab out rhythm and lead parts,and I'm

While editing a tab, I ended up with a bunch of white space between
1/8 notes. I know how to highlight the area but I can't figure out how
to delete or remove the unnecessary space. The problem was caused when
I changed a whole note to an 1/8 note. The not changed but the spacing
didn't.

I'm not a great music reader and its hard to figure out the notes that
go way off the staff. Is there any way to show the letter for these

Helloe everyone, I am new to using Power Tab and really like it. I
tabbed out about 3/4 of a song the other night and saved the file many
times. I went to open it today and it has nothing in it. I tried the
recovery option with the same results. Any help appreciated. Also does
anyone know how to move the tab sections down on the page to make room

Bass problem

So I am having trouble with making a tab with both guitar and bass.
The bass and guitar are supposed to start at the same time at the
beginning, but the bass starts five or six notes too late. Please help

Hi, I have been using Powertab for a day and it's going well, I've
already done two songs, and they are both complicated songs.

My only trouble has mostly to do with ties. Are there rules about
when you can and cannot use them? And I find that the tie only shows
up on the upper staff. Can I control this behavior? Also, I sometimes

Having an issue with the printing.

Currently archiving my own music and when i print, everything is fine,
looks great... besides the title and the credits printing to the far
right!

It's probably a good inch to the right... very frustrating.

I am operating on Windows Vista.
