I like Powertab after only one day, but I have a couple questions for a "Power" user if you don't mind

Hi, I have been using Powertab for a day and it's going well, I've
already done two songs, and they are both complicated songs.

My only trouble has mostly to do with ties. Are there rules about
when you can and cannot use them? And I find that the tie only shows
up on the upper staff. Can I control this behavior? Also, I sometimes
find that I cannot tie two notes together, such as when I am using
hammer-ons and pull-offs.

And can I ever see the notes that I mute - I would like to see
something under the x. Can I control this behavior?

Well anyway, it's a good program and I like it. I guess I just don't
understand a couple of the features.

But the MIDI playback is fantastic - I can always find my mistakes in
rhythm with it. And I can do complex work with Powertab. Lots of
nice features.

Ties only show in the standard notation staff, not the tab staff.

Hammer-ons and pull-offs are automatically tied.

Muted notes are replaced with "x"s. The number can't be shown.
