Powertab Crashes!! :(

Hey Guys,

I just recently cleaned my computer and re-added PTE. I upgraded my
Vista from Home Basic to Ultimate. When I ran Home Basic I never had a
problem with crashes(freezes) in PT. Now, I open PTE import a song and
click play. As soon as I click play PTE locks up and it doesn't
respond. I went to MIDI settings and clicked on one of those notes in
the bend area and it locks up when a noise tries to be played. Then I
noticed that my audio icon in my task try has a huge "X" over it. As
soon as a close the program it goes away?

I searched everywhere for an answer and..well...I just can't find one.
Hopefully someone can help me out here.
