I am still new to power tab and I'm sure this is quite simple but how
do I have a rhythm section repeat twice and then have a second guitar
play a solo while the rhythm still play

You'll need to make additional bars for the rhythm during the solo. So there'll always be as many rhythmbars as leadbars. But you could also just type "Guitar 2 plays riff 3 during solo" or something like that, but that wouldn't make the program play it.
