HI,

New user question.

I want to insert a few notes into the middle of a song; but I don't
see any way to do that other than to place the cursor at the point of
interest, cut everything to the end of the song, insert my notes and
then past the part that was cut.

Sometimes pasting adds a music bar and then I can't add notes to the
section because it contains a music bar.

This is so crude that I have to be missing something

Help please !

Put the cursor on the first note you want to move and hit the
spacebar, just like you would
with a text document.
