When I tried to connect to PsOracle 8.1.7, I had the error message:invalid
driver designator. What's wrong? What should I do?
Thanks a lot!!

Juan:

ORA-06401 NETCMN: invalid driver designator
Cause: The login (connect) string contains an invalid driver designator.
Action: Correct the string and re-submit.
To answer your question we need more information( DBMS, SQLNet, ....)

Did you use :sqlca.servername = '@tnsnamesalias' by any chance?
Don't use the @. That's only used when connecting through sqlnet 2.x.
