Welcome to the Powerbooks List, a Google Group managed by Low End Mac for those using pre-G3 PowerBooks. (G3 models are covered by G-Books.)

This is a mostly unmoderated, closed list, but postings by new members are moderated to keep spammers out. Group members may also be moderated based on their behavior. List managers are volunteers, so moderated messages may not appear for a while.

By default, replies go to the entire list. This list is archived; anything you post could remain on the Internet forever.

When replying, we ask that you trim quoted material and retain only what is relevant to your reply. We also ask that you not "top post" but instead reply after the content you are quoting.

Please don't start a new thread by replying to an existing thread and changing the subject line. Google will simply append such messages to the current thread, effectively burying it. Create a brand new email to start a new thread.
