Batteries Sourcing

Hallo,

We've been in all-out part scavenging motors and have pissed off our shop momma with all the motors we've stashed in Dogfort.

However, we're having difficulty sourcing good batteries. Anyone willing to share tips on where they got their batteries from and what they've found to be most reliable? I know, I know, shooting yourself in the competition, but perhaps to view it as inuring yourself of competitive bias? That is, if your engineering can withstand flat competition on battery tech.

We have a surplus battery company in Milwaukee that we get most of our batteries (especially the electric car guys) from but shipping is a killer.  If you know anyone in the area we can hook you up.  (I can't find their web site, but I can find the store :-)
