Detroit Maker Faire application

I thought I filled out the Detroit Maker Faire application ... guess I didn't ... so here are my questions:

  1. Exhibit or performer?
  2. Hands on exhibit?
  3. Maker Category? Engineering, Science, or other?
  4. Booth size?    Standard booth space (10'x8' space), with 2 – 8ft. tables and 4 chairs ???
  5. Special setup ... what did you put?

    I don't think it matters if you exhibit or perform
    2. I do believe they are hands on
    3. Engineering
    4. Other - defer to PPPRS track
    5. We're part of the Power Racing Series. We will be using the pitstalls for displaying our work
    6. Other - we're a part of Power Racing Series

    ok have submitted applications for 2 of the 3 CCCKC/Duct Tape & Zip Ties vehicles ... not sure if the 3rd will be going to Detroit but will ask them ...

    You submit both. Treat each race entry as an "exhibit "

    I registered for the faire today, but it said registration was closed.  But we do plan on racing still.  Anything else I need to do?

    Just received an e-mail from Detroit Maker Faire ... drop an e-mail to this address:  makerfai...@thehenryford.org

    They said they are reviewing new applications on a case by case basis.

    yep ... we have 2 cars registered for Detroit (Jesse/Bryce said they aren't going) ...
