Overview

The Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code (RM4SCC) is used by the British Postal Service to encode the postcode and delivery point identifier on letter mail.

Invoking

• The data may contain any of the following characters from the postcode and DPID:

  • Capital letters A-Z
  • Digits 0-9
• The maditory checksum digit is calculated automatically and must not be included in the data field
