Hello,

I've programmed a little RGhost_barcode.
On my PC (under Windows 2000), the installation of Ruby and its
plugins work very well.

I wanted to show it to my boss (under Windows XP), but when I execute
(on his PC) the command gem install -y rghost_barcode there's an
error :

ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError)
      getaddrinfo: no adress associated with hostname.(SocketError)

Is it because his shell isn't configured to access the Internet ?
(Our society is using a proxy)
If yes, can you tell me how to configure it ?

Or have you got any idea to solve this problem ?

I think this issue isn't about barcodes, but "excuse me Terry I will answer
it"  :)

You can fix the problem using the param -p to set proxy or get the gem files
and make the manual instalação .

The -p param doesn't work, so I've downloaded the gem files and it's
now ok.
