okay, so I am taking it upon myself to delete all of the garbage spam
from pcx. the idiot who came up with this "brilliant" plan and the
subsequent idiots who followed suit don't seem to realize that
spamming random messages and their own information 500 times is JUST
AS BAD AS THE MASS ALTERINGS/DELETIONS. what is wrong with you? do you
not use your brain? did you not stop to think for ONE SECOND that the
troll would just leave your garbage up, because it's basically another
version of what he/she is doing? pcx is for leaving real addresses and
having people respond to you and sending things out. a pcx filled up
with "lol im going to spam as much as i can lol" 50 times by 10 people
every 20 minutes is just as bad as that many profiles with their info
replaced with "poo and pee". you're not irritating or detering the
delete person at all. you're helping him/her you fucking moron.

and if you tell me to come up with a better idea like you did the
other "mysterious person" who wrote in your profiles, i'll punch you.
seriously, the fact that someone cannot think of a better idea does
not validate your plan. This is an idea a fucking 2 year old wouldn't
come up with because they are smart enough to realize what's wrong
with it and why it won't work. you people say the delete cretin has no
life, what about you guys? i am definitely leaving to another place,
hopefully one where i won't have to receive a postcard from someone
who is probably too stupid to write the letter sequence in the address
area correctly. if pcx is left open, then no one is safe as long as he/
she is still around. and it especially isn't if you geniuses come up
with another "plan" like this. congratulations you fucking dumbasses.
the troll turned YOU all into trolls. you should be proud of yourself.

Whisper Wind, you need to calm down. Screeching at people certainly
doesn't solve anything and it makes you look bad.

This doesn't have to be a drama-filled thing. Annoying and
frustrating, yes, but it's not the end of the world.

who's yelling? i'm using curse words. mind your own business if you
have nothing productive to say other than "shh... it's okay."

Ah, ok. I didn't realize you were cursing in a calm voice.

You are the one getting irrationally annoyed. It seems that you have
nothing useful to say either so stop preaching and calm down.

Okay so you don't like the solution. I admit it won't bring the site
back to what it was, but maybe bringing up ideas of alternative
solutions would be better than ranting about it?

clever. yes, sarcasm. beautiful.

if you have nothing real to say, then i'm done responding to you.

I have been saving every new person's information, trying to keep pcx
as it should be.
we were just trying to do something, anything.... at least we were
trying.

and no. I have no life. thank you very much.
also, I think its very insulting to call people idiots, morons,
dumbasses and questioning their intelligence.
Flaming us is also just as bad as editing and deleting. very rude.

okay, so i can rant, --just like everybody else--, just as long as i
come up with a plan. i get it now.

okay then, how about we all become super hackers and shield the site
with a firewall channeled from a server in pakistan. i think that idea
is just as good.

now can i vent?

Wow, whisper wind girl...I wasn't among the group trying to combat the troll
by wearing him out with multiple postings of their own stuff, and in fact I
rarely post here and am only occasionally active on the site (though I've
reposted my info several times in the past couple of days because I value
the small activity I enjoy from it). And I have never been among those
repeatedly begging Jack for fixes (I figure it's his site and he doesn't
have to run it the way other people want him to) or wanting a new site that
has more security (because I get enough enjoyment out of it as it is).

But my gut reaction to your post was to think that maybe it would be nice if
there was a site where rude self-important people could be banned. I don't
think you've entered the dialogue about this--*I've* posted more views on it
than you have, and I rarely post anything. Rather than discuss the
multiple-post plan rationally, you simply react by deleting; you don't have
a clear understanding of the meaning of the word "spam" (which the multiple
posts here are not, because of their intended purpose) and you flame rather
than enter the debate in a rational manner (my least favorite Internet
behavior).

So now we have two trolls--one trying to destroy the site and one trying to
control the other members who use it.

Well, whispering wind does understand one thing--if you don't like how a
site is working, you can leave.

The amazing thing (that almost nobody seems to understand in Net World) is
that you can leave without throwing a tantrum first.

so, this is basically one sentence mashed up with a jumble of
pretentious words.

the fact that you think this stupid plan tori or amy or whoever had
actually had a real solution as it's endgame is just disheartening. i
may use curse words in my vents, but at least i have a relative string
of intelligence. you people are just very sad. i'm sure the troll is
laughing his/her ass off right now.

i would be too.

Whisper, i'm afraid that Janna entered this discussion in a much more
mature and intellegent way than you did.

I bet the deleter is laughing his ass off, at you.

I can no longer be bothered to listen to you.

Ah, another word of which your understanding is somewhat limited. Or maybe
not--you did say " _relative_ string of intelligence," leaving us the
opportunity to fill in exactly what it is relative to. :^ )

I'm enjoying that exercise.

I guess I'll point out that I didn't express any opinion at all on the plan
to add multiple profiles.

But I'm enjoying feeding the troll!

Okay...sorry, I know. That line about using the delete key and starving
irrationals is usually mine.

I'll be quiet now.

I have an idea. Why don't we all just not touch the site for a week or
two or three. Then, the person deleting all the entries will be
checking it and finding nothing to delete. Surely he or she will get
bored and stop checking it after a while or will think we've all given
up and gone elsewhere. It's worth a try.
The trying to wear them out thing is just feeding the troll and
creating more clutter.

I would say that's a good idea, Elabeth, except that I think probably
whoever's doing the deleting has some sort of bot working for him.
That's just a guess on my part, but it seems like the troll was
working awfully fast for someone doing it all manually. I hope I'm
wrong!

finding no address but a line that says "I can keep adding myself all
night long..." *shrugs*

Whisper wind girl, I t5hink that many people were at least talking
openly and with respect for each other you however need to learn the
meaning of the word respect as you've greatly insult myself and many
other people on here.
