2009 Portland Zine Symposium

Hey ya'll--

Do you live in Portland, Oregon? Have you always wanted to help
organize the Portland Zine Symposium? Well, now's your chance!

Please come to our first organizing meeting for the Portland Zine
Symposium 2009! Our first meetings and discuss zine symposium history,
dates and themes for the 2009 Symposium, jobs to be done, and what we
can all bring the table to to make PZS the best zine event ever! Help
set the tone and develop next year's theme.

To be a core symposium organizer YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE MONTHLY

MEETINGS, which bump up to biweekly and weekly closer to PZS. So, closer
to PZS, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND WEEKLY MEETINGS, STARTING IN JUNE.

Other positions are not quite as time intensive, but are not needed
until closer to the symposium date. We could use all the help we can get, and first time
organizers are heartily welcomed to give it a go. Come to the first meeting if you're interested,
if you are thinking of signing up, or if you just want to see what the hubub is all about.

Meeting will be held Sunday, December 14th at the Independent Publishing
Resource Center at 6PM.  917 SW Oak Street #218 Portland, Oregon 97205.
The main doors should be locked but jsut buzz up to #218 and We'll let
you in.

There will be snacks!
