今天看到David MacKay的文章：http://users.aims.ac.za/~mackay/sorting/sorting.html。里面提到利用信息论，称12球的问题可以系统地解决，不需要试错。学过信息论的大大们可能觉得火星了。我对信息论一知半解，所以看到这套思路觉得非常新鲜。有种 用惯罗马计数法的人突然明白阿拉伯计数法，或者用惯加法的人突然领略乘法时的惊喜。文章里提到的教材Information You must Sign in before you can post messages.
