OK. Here's a simple one.

Does day one start after the first full night of sleep....or the first
full night of NO sleep? Even Steve Pavlina didn't know the answer to
this one for sure.

Let me rephrase. Say, you get up on the morning of the 12th after a
full night of sleep. Do you start counting Day 1 on the 12th, or 13th?

If you started counting Day 1 on the 13th, even though you first woke
up on the 12th, then in essence you would be using the number "0" as
your actual starting point.

I would simply start Day 1 on the 12th.

I started counting Day 1 on the 13th, because the first change I made
to my regular schedule was on this day, I did not start napping
immediately after sleeping a full night. My advice is to simply use
whatever seems most logical to you :)

Once you are on a polyphasic schedule, the concept of a "day" becomes more
difficult. This is one reason why puredoxyk gave names to each night of the
week as well.

Puredoxyk, if you're listening here, what were the names that you used for the
nights of the week?

If you want to stick to calendar days, I'd think that it would make the most
sense to designate "day 1" as the first calendar day without any monophasic
sleep, but as others have noted, you should make your own rules here.

Cheers,

I have never had trouble thinking of "Days". What I do have trouble
with is saying "I haven't seen you in forever" when it's scarcely been
a week. Looking back on days, this is hard, but days, no, it's pretty
obvious when the sun goes down and comes up.

Aya, it sounds as if you're experiencing the time dilation that
PureDoxyx referred to in her tome "Ubersleep". That must be a
wonderful feeling—the sense that a few days passing feels like a few
weeks, the sense that time is creeping by very slowly, while you're
moving very quickly...

I noticed in another of your posts that you're experiencing the vivid
dreams PureDoxyk referred to, as well. Are you feeling the euphoria
that successful Uberman often feel?
