Globethics.net launches new online library collection on Health Ethics
Dear participant
According to the subjects of interest you identified when you registered with Globethics.net, you indicated that you are interested in bioethics.
We are therefore writing to you to inform you about a new online collection of research, documentation and articles on Health Ethics that has been launched by Globethics.net in its Global Digital Library on Ethics (GlobeEthicsLib).
Initially including more than 500 documents, the Globethics.net Health Ethics collection is a unique online resource covering topics related to health ethics such as pharmaceuticals, health economics, health politics, access to medical care, environmental issues and bioethics.
The collection is intended for health professionals and researchers, as well as people in other disciplines wishing to health ethics material related to their fields of study.
The collection is available to registered participants of Globethics.net. Log in using your user name and password and then navigate to: www.globethics.net/web/bb-health-ethics
Articles are available in Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese. They can be searched by author, title, keyword, language or subject.
At the same time, a classification tree allows easy access to documents organized according to institutional and thematic topics.
The selection of documents has been undertaken by Fabienne Mabillard, a Globethics.net research assistant who is undertaking a master's programme in information science at the University of Applied Sciences in Chur, eastern Switzerland. She will use the experience of developing the Globethics.net Health Ethics collection for her master's thesis on the creation of digital collections.
The Health Ethics collection joins other special online collections in GlobeEthicsLib on Business Ethics and Climate Ethics, as well as on Catholic Ethics and Islamic Ethics.
In addition, there are 15 institutional collections, assembling documents from institutions, and two collections on educational resources.

La sélection des documents a été faite par Fabienne Mabillard, assistante de recherche à Globethics.net et étudiante en sciences de l’information à la Haute Ecole de Coire, en Suisse orientale. Elle utilisera cette expérience du développement de la collection de l’éthique de la santé pour son mémoire de master portant sur la création des collections numériques.
La collection sur l’éthique de la santé rejoint d’autres collections spéciales déjà en ligne sur GlobEthicsLib sur l’éthique des affaires et l’éthique climatique ainsi que sur l’éthique catholique et l’éthique islamique.
En outre, la bibliothèque possèdent 15 collections institutionnelles rassemblent des documents d’institutions ainsi que 2 autres collections composées de ressources éducatives.
