Dear Cynthia,
I made 3 tours of Poland in '94, '95 and '96 all of which were advertised by a tour company in Pa. that is no longer in business.
They worked in cooperation with PAT Tours (Springfield, Mass) who arranged all of the travel and guides while in Poland. I thoroughly enjoyed all three of the tours which targeted different geographic areas of Poland while visiting major cities, Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, for instance, on every tour. While some cities were revisited, the palaces, monuments, cathedrals, etc. varied with each tour.
I made a document for you that highlights PAT Tours for 2010. I am sure there are many other ways to tour Poland, but since I have this information, I thought I would pass it along to you.
Good luck in your search. Our tours were May, September and July. The summer tour, of course, was the most crowded, as summer vacationers from within and outside of Poland were taking advantage of their holiday time to visit Poland. I think your idea to travel in May is a good one; as I recall the rates were lower before peak season for hotels and restaurants and the weather was delightful.
szczesliwej podrozy! bon voyage! Safe, happy travels!

Hi-My husband and I are planning a trip to Poland in May and wonder if there are any tour groups you would recommend. We're emailing a Polish agency which would customize the tour for us, which would be helpful, since we're vegan.
Also, when is the next series of Polish lessons for adults?
Thanks,
Cynthia
