Faces
Faces coloured with calm
Concealing pain,
Inside shattered with turmoil,
Outside so placid and plain:
Who taught you to hide behind walls
And behind shields
To trick us?
Who do you fear?
That face is a fake:
A dark, wooden mask
That hides you in shadow.
Who are you?
Why are you afraid to show me?
Why do you want to look like another face?
That face is evil.
Kill the face.
Can you?
Can you show me your self,
Let me see the turmoil in you,
Please?
Be brave!
Kill that ugly face.
