Subject: For Erfan
Dear Erfan,

My name is Morteza, and I’m 20years old. Unfortunately, I was born and
raised in Kuwait. I know it is not so far away from home (Iran), but
it is still away!!! Moreover, I'm an under graduate student in
American University of Kuwait. Hopefully, I gonna go back to Iran when
I get my degree. I worship my country and I’m on fire to go back and
stay for good. BTW, your music is fascinating. Your songs make me
stronger every single time I listen to them (which I do 24/7) my
friends call me “Erfan Addict” lo0ol. After all, believe me when I say
it is not easy at all to live among stupid Arabs! It really hurts when
I look at Iran’s history and how powerful we have been, but now AN
ARAB! AN ARAB! Easily allows himself to disrespect us (Persians) why?
We have history, we have culture (hala in arabaye sahra neshin ba ma
chetor barkhord mekonan) it really hurts drear Erfan, it really does.

I’m not from a rich family, we just make enough money to live a normal
life, but I have a goal like the one that you had, and amazingly
achieved. My goal is to be rich, I will build an empire. Some people
call me “Megalomaniac”! but I don’t care.  I remember once when I was
13 there was a family gathering. I said “Man haghamo az in donya
megeram” everyone their laughed at me. They broke my heart that day,
but I didn’t listen to them because I had faith in myself. Just like
you. I worked really hard, and I earned a scholarship at AUK which is
the best and the most expensive university in Kuwait. Even though I’m
sick of studying I joined a uni because as you know a degree is a
requirement for everything nowadays! I also got my self a job here,
but it is just a start, just a start. Sorry man, I went on talking and
talking!

Man maamolan zeyad harf nemezanam. ina ro ham goftam na bekhatere in
ke darde dele man hastan Naaa. Ina ro goftam chon dared dele hameye
iranihaye injast. Man har bar ke meram iran az khoshhali roham bal bal
mezane. Vali vaghti daram barmegardam ba ashk az airporte iran boland
mesham va ba khashm to airport Kuwait meshinam. Inja mesle…  ba irania
barkhord mekonan. Khyli dardnake erfan jan khaaayli. Khob dege beshtar
az in vaghteto talaf nemekonam.

I just want you to know, that your songs keep me going. They make my
day every single day. I love all of your songs especially, Sad Ghasam,
Jadde, Khate Man, Hadaf Had Nadare, etc. I hope you continue singing
song as powerful, and meaningful as those that I have mentioned.

Sincerely Yours,

Morteza
