I've got feelings that loves behind the next corner,

but it's going to take some kind of science to stop me falling
poorer.

Such a strand of blocking curses strung around my neck,

with every bad birdie vying, per chance, to have their peck.

As soon as I invent away to clear my name,

straight back happy , to the top of my game.

Sharing, fazing magic granting sparkling wishes,

only pay the cost and that's two dozen kisses.

Treat, made neat, a feat, to keep.

Future with a run up,

looking brighter every sun up.

Of course any caution shields an undue portion.

To hard a glare twists and contorts wondering stares.

Thrilled healed and harmonised with will and natures care.

Christ's love

SOLDIER FOR THE LORD

I'm a soldier for the Lord
Who’s been up and who's been down

Though while on the battlefield
I have never turned around.

I face more than flesh and blood
With the devil's evil hoard.

But they shall not steal my soul
For I swing my Lord's swift sword.

I wear all of God's armor
With helmet, breastplate and shield.

As Satan’s arrows fly by
From his archers of the field.

The devil casts his dark net

Over any he may charm.

He’ll lead them from salvation
With his hands upon their arm.

I battle evil daily
And I pray that you’ll join me.

We're not alone in this world

For we're loved and watched by Thee.
