I’m having trouble getting the art work for my podcasts to show up on iPod
screens.

They have been submitted and accepted by iTunes.

Following instructions I right-clicked on one of them and got a message
saying: ”Are you sure you want to edit information for multiple items?”

I clicked “yes” ...not really knowing what the question meant...and it
opened a page titled: “Multiple Item Information.”

There is a blank square there which is labelled Artwork but nothing in it.
There is a check box next to it but ticking that and then OK didn’t seem to
do anything.

Can anybody tell me where I’m going wrong?

Cheers,

Ian MacRae

First, if you are getting the message, "...edit multiple items..." then you
have multiple items selected in the iTunes list. If this is what you want to
do (i.e. Add the same artwork to multiple tracks) then go ahead. Otherwise,
select just one track.

There are 2 ways of adding Artwork to an MP3 file using iTunes

Select the track you want
Select File Menu, Get Info
Select the Artwork Tab
Click the Add... button
Select the graphic file you want to use as artwork

Additionally,
Open your graphic in your favorite graphic editor
Select the graphic and select Edit, Copy
In iTunes, Select the track you are interested in adding artwork
Right-click (Control-click) in the Artwork window (lower-left)
Select Paste

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.

Thanks for your reply Douglas.

My problem is...
I only have ONE item selected in the iTunes list of the podcasts I'm
subscribed to...of course including my own. So I'm just highlighting and
right clicking on one item...but still get the multiple items message.

Douglas

I am guessing you have the podcast itself selected and not an individual
show within the podcast. If you have the name of the podcast selected in the
Podcast listing, everything you do will effect every downloaded podcast for
that show.

If you only want to effect 1 podcast episode, click the small grey triangle
next to the podcast name to expand the list of episodes for that podcast.
Then select an individual episode to operate on.

I am guessing, but I think think this might be the issue. I tried it here
and the effect seemed the same to what you are seeing.
