Hi,
The activation was successful. It was really nice to catch up with
some real VHF gurus like Dale KD7UO and Mike KD7TS. We also made 432
QSOs. All together I was able to chat with 5 different stations on 2m.
The other 3 station were new to my. I should have stayed longer on the
summit and maybe catch more people around the afternoon, but I headed
home after I could not reduce SWR on my buddipole for 20m. Weather was
absolutely amazing. I hope I can make more contacts next time. I will
put up a trip report on
http://www.pnwsota.org/
I will add pictures there also, give me a week or two.
I plan to deploy my station on Mt. Adams during the June ARRL VHF
contest, so hope I can talk to more of you guys.
Many thanks to all stations who were looking for my signal. In order
of QSO:
VA7VO
N6ZE/M
KD7UO
KB7DQH
KD7TS
Although I always want some good DX, I want to emphasize that I really
appreciate the local contacts and some rag-chew. Without them it would
not be such fun :)
