Today's DN16lx trip report is posted on my rover site:
http://www.coilgun.info/rover/DN16.htm This was a very challenging distance to reach Puget Sound on two meters; I called a lot but your signals would only sometimes raise slightly out of the noise to make a contact. But I like the location, particularly for contests where Steptoe Butte (DN17) is a short drive away.
Thanks everyone for joining the net this morning and trying to reach me. And thanks to Gary WA7BBJ for calling my cellphone with the coastal status. I made five contacts on 2m (CN79, CN85, CN87) and four contacts on 6m (DN13, DN17, CN87). I'll have to do this again since I know there are a bunch more of you that'd like to log DN16!
