I want to extend a special invitation to you to participate in the first Northwest Biocarbon Summit on June 10th!
The Summit is a gathering of
thought leaders and innovators in Oregon and Washington who are developing the
science, policies, best practices and business models for biological carbon
storage, the ‘second solution to climate change.’
This day-long event will stoke an interdisciplinary conversation connecting work across the major biocarbon solution sectors: healthy forests, soil-building agriculture, greening communities, organics recycling, and blue carbon. We are inviting the region’s top practitioners, researchers, agency and policy leaders, and conservationists.
The Summit will be the first step toward establishing our region as a leading laboratory and incubator for biocarbon solutions. We see Oregon and Washington leading the way in developing innovative and effective strategies to increase biological carbon storage and to build a vibrant ‘restoration economy.’
