Corvallis Sustainability Coalition -
Tonight we are showing “Biophilic Design: The Architecture of Life”
at the 9th Annual Corvallis Eco-Film Festival. This is a solutions-oriented
film, rather than a gloom and doom film.
Following the film will be a panel discussion to discuss features from the film
that we can incorporate in the Corvallis area. Unfortunately, Rick Martinson,
one of the panelists previously announced, caught the flu and will be unable to
attend. Fortunately, we are lucky to find a great replacement panelist, Owen
Dell.
Owen Dell
is a California-licensed landscape architect and contractor specializing in
sustainable landscape
design. He is the author of "Sustainable
Landscaping for Dummies" and other books, and has been active for
over 40 years in watershed management, urban food
production, native landscaping, and landscape design
for residential, commercial, and public projects.
As
previously announced, Jeffrey Larson and Jason Yaich will be on the panel
tonight.
